1.  The Army Commendation Medal for SGT XXXXXX Robert J. is late due to the numerous administrative changes concerning the award and the unit’s recent block leave. SGT XXXXX award was processed in Kuwait back in November and has been signed and turned in since March verified by the dates on the cover sheet.

2.  SGT XXXXXXX is extremely deserving of this award and the late submission should not have any negative effect on the consideration of approval.
